Craft, Craft, Craft It Up

The title is set to the tune of "Cupid's Shuffle" when he's all, "clap, clap, clap it up." Hopefully you're familiar with it. If not, whatever.

Anyway, just wanted to share some of my crafty side. I was inspired my sister's site and also,  I think I've found my calling as a preschool teacher, since it's all about the crafts. Sometimes, I have a vision for a craft and the kids can't quite execute what I had in mind, but as long as we're having fun, all is well. Plus, it's not about me, it's about the kids and their crazy parents liking it.

My supplies are also kind of limited here, so don't judge too harshly. I do what I can. I think if I had better materials, things might turn out a little better...but I also think if I had more patience, that would help as well.  I've mainly been making cards, but I've got some paint lined up and am working on making my apartment look cuter. More to come, hopefully!

(Side note: the name of my class is Cherry class, so that is why everything has cherries on it)

Jake's one of my faves :) The heart was supposed to be their thumb prints, but their thumbs were too small!

Crayon, my new favorite medium. Seriously, I love crayons. The Korean ones are awesome, but limited in colors.

Our invitation to Open Class..I did the cherries and the writing (and the design)

The inside, it's a pop-up! And those are Jenny's parents.

Cherry Family Tree. Seriously thought I was so clever

Best card I think I've ever made.

Not sure I'll be able to top this one

City made from covered boxes. Such a pain in the ass to make.

My Cherry Train. I feel like this could have been better. But I was pressed for time.
